“Yasmine is the most talented, knowledgeable and personable teacher you could hope to have for your PT or pilates training needs, no matter your goals or experience. She was my PT for 6 months, and I’ve only stopped as I’ve moved abroad. However I will continue attending her online pilates classes and recommending her to anyone asking without hesitation. Here’s just a few reasons why:I am not someone who naturally enjoys solo exercise and had never set foot in a gym before, so wanted to find someone who could give a really solid grounding in core foundational techniques. I also needed someone who could keep me disciplined, but was realistic enough about my limited capacity and self-motivation for exercise, to ensure I wouldn’t end up treating our sessions like a reluctant chore. “I first connected with Yasmine in December 2017 after securing a charity place for the Virgin London Marathon the following April. I had heard great things about her approach to training and I knew that I wanted some expert input in order to get the best out of the opportunity to run London. To say I was anxious about working with a PT is an understatement. I had images of being yelled at while doing endless burpees and paying a fortune for the privilege! “Exercising has always been extremely important to me but after falling pregnant I was surprised to find I lost my confidence for attending classes and the gym uncertain as to what exercise would be safest for my growing baby and changing body. “I trained with Yasmine from the start to finish of my twin pregnancy. I was a regular gym goer anyway with a good level of fitness, which I was keen to maintain as well as focus on strengthening the areas put under particular stress during pregnancy. We met every 3 weeks when she would run me through two programmes and then email me them afterwards that I would practise alongside group classes and swimming each week before we next met. Her programmes were pitched perfectly for that particular stage of pregnancy and energy levels, always interesting, included exercises I had never done before so keeping it constantly interesting and always ensured I had a safe but productive workout.
